Nishu Patel
Chief Accounting Officer
Nishu Patel has served as Chief Accounting Officer since April 2024. Previously, Ms. Patel served as Vice President, Corporate Controller, from June 2023 to March 2024. In this role, Ms. Patel is responsible for being a strategic leader, resolving complex matters, managing regulatory risks, and overseeing the Company’s SEC filings, ensuring that financial statements and disclosures are in accordance with US GAAP and in compliance with SEC rules and regulations. Prior to joining Freshpet, Ms. Patel accumulated fifteen years of experience in public and private company financial statement audits from her tenure at Ernst & Young LLP. Ms. Patel is a CPA, holds an MBA in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
